‘General Hospital’ News: Jazmyn Skye Vale Joins ‘GH’ Cast As Athena

Spoilers for ‘General Hospital’ indicate that there is a new addition to the GH cast. According to Soaps.com Jazmyn Skye Vale is the newest addition to the ABC soap opera. Vale has been tapped for the recurring role of Athena and will debut in the week of July 25.

Who could Athena be? – Well the actress is just five years old, so could she be a daughter of one of Port Charles current resident? Could she be someone’s cousin? Will she be one of the patients in Franco’s [Roger Howarth] art therapy class? Is she connected to the Berlins that are taking time showing up in Port Charles? Is she a friend of Jake [Hudson West]?

Then there are several other children in Port Charles she could possibly be friends with such as Josslyn [Eden McCoy], Cameron [Michael Leone], Emma [Brooklyn Rae Silzer] who is slated for a return around the same time and Spencer [Nicolas Bechtel].

So far all we really know about this role is that it is a recurring one. There are no details to indicate the length of stay for the young actress but recurring roles simply means we see her from time to time.

Vale is a very young actress, Soaps.com disclosed that she is represented by Church-Hugger Management and this will be her first major gig. It will be exciting to see what the young star brings to the role when she debuts next month.
