‘General Hospital’ News: Hayley Erin Speaks Out On Bryan Craig’s Exit From ‘GH’

‘General Hospital’ Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] has lost another chance at love. Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] may be leaving Port Charles for a while. Bryan announced his departure recently via Twitter. There has been no word yet from TPTB on a recast for the role.

How does Hayley feel about Bryan leaving ‘GH’? In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest the actress expressed her sadness, not just on a professional level, but also personal. “I adore Bryan and he’s been such a pleasure to work with.” Hayley joined the cast of ‘General Hospital’ in 2015, replacing Kristen Alderson as Ava Jerome [Maura West] and Silas Clay’s [Michael Easton] daughter.

Despite Hayley’s sadness about Bryan leaving ‘General Hospital’ she is genuinely happy for him. Hayley understands that the Emmy winning actor needed to make some difficult choices about his life and career. Exiting his role as Morgan is one of those tough decisions – the one that was the best for Bryan on many levels.

Hayley expressed her happiness that Bryan was able to take home the Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series before his decision to move on from his role on ‘General Hospital.’ “He is a phenomenal actor and I know he is going to do great things.”

After Morgan leaves town, Bryan’s last airdate is sometime in November, who will be Kiki’s next love interest? Is it possible that Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell], grieving the loss of Sabrina Santiago [Teresa Castillo], may lean on Kiki for comfort?  Or will she and Dillon finally get together? The once lovers could find their way back to each other when Morgan skips town.
