‘General Hospital’ News: Nicolas Bechtel Doing Great After Surgery

“General Hospital” Nicolas Bechtel [Spencer Cassadine] is doing great after having a nasal procedure. The pint-sized actor took to Twitter to assure fans he is 100% A-Okay and thanked the staff at Cedars Sinai Hospital.

Nicolas posted a photo on Twitter and he’s wearing black-framed glasses, a Disney character surgical mask and purple surgical gloves. But never fear, the pic is captioned, “Had a little procedure done on my nose last night @CedarsSinai. They were awesome and I am 100 No more bloody noses!!”

The young actor most likely had some type of cauterization performed if he was prone to frequent and/or severe nosebleeds – or epistaxis. It’s a simple procedure, as Nicolas Bechtel tweeted to “GH” fans, to correct the medical condition, which can be life-threatening.

Nicolas has been quite busy! He portrays a young Robert Kardashian, Jr. in the FX docuseries “People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” The youngster also stars in the Disney Channel family comedy “Stuck in the Middle” as Lewie Diaz.

“GH” fans tweeted well wishes for a speedy recovery! “Glad you’re okay!! Hope you‘re feeling well!!!  WE LOVE YOU NIC!!!! a Twitter follower with the name Mrs_Corinthos responded. Another “General Hospital” fan and follower of Nicolas’s on Twitter said, “I’m glad that is taken care of. Missed you on General Hospital.”

Everyone seems to want Nicolas Bechtel back as Spencer Cassadine on “GH” and soon! We’ve missed the precocious Spencer and can’t wait to find out what he thinks of his new stepmother Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig]! Will Spencer be upset with his father Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] or will he be pleased to finally have someone to call Mommy?
