Great News, ‘General Hospital’ alum Sebastian Roche (Jerry Jacks) has landed a new role in Amazon’s ‘The Man in the High Castle’ season 2. According to the report published by Deadline, the show which returns for its second season in the coming months has tapped Roche to play the role of Martin Hausmann.
Roche is quite happy with his new role as he tweeted, “Thrilled to join highcastleamazon this season. Already a big fan of this incredible show!” When the news was released yesterday of his new role, Roche was so thrilled about this, he shared another tweet “Thrilled to join this amazing show @HighCastleTV”.
Roche’s character is a very wealthy man. He is a high ranking official, one of the Nazis, and he is from Berlin. According to the character description he is desperate to reconnect with his son Joe played by Luke Kleintank. Both Roche and Kleintank have daytime connections, having played the role of Jerry Jacks on ‘General Hospital’ and Noah Newman on ‘The Young and the Restless’ respectively.
The 60min drama is said to be based on a historic novel by Philip K. Dick. It’s description highlight that it is about “a glimpse into an alternate history of North America and what life after WWII may have been like if the Nazis had won the war”. The show has had a very successful run for its first season in 2015 hence the reason for another go at another season.
With his new found busy schedule there is no way to tell if we will see him reprise the role of troublemaker Jerry Jacks anytime soon on “General Hospital”. While fans were probably awaiting news of his return to GH, this news comes shortly after reports that he had booked a guest role on Bones. Congratulations to you Sebastian!
