‘General Hospital’ News: Finola Hughes Not Returning To GH Soon

‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that Finola Hughes [Anna DeVane] will not be returning as soon as planned. Soaps in Depth reported that there is a change in her return schedule, Hughes was originally suppose to return next month in August but GH is reporting that she won’t return until this fall.

Hughes was last seen as Anna DeVane at the early part of July. She announced earlier this year that like last year she was going to be taking a short summer vacation with hopes to return in August. However, SID reported that Hughes requested to extend her time off and is schedule to return later this fall.

Hughes is already missed by her fans; they can’t wait to see her return and reunite with gal-pal Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine]. They both became a great team, one that the fans really love and just can’t get enough of. While Anna is off the scene Jordan will have to do her commissioner duties on her own or with the help of Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi].

So what will Anna be up to when she is back in Port Charles? There is the story of Andre [Anthony Montgomery] sharing feelings for her even though he is dating Jordan. And, with everything that is happening between Jordan and Andre – is there a break up in their near future? Will viewers finally get to see something develop between Anna and Andre? Will Julian [William DeVry] be sentenced before Anna returns?

What about what was happening between Anna and Paul? Will the show explore something between these two? Will Anna help Jordan bring down the DA?
