‘General Hospital’ News: Finola Hughes’ Final Air Date Revealed – Anna Devane Heading To California For Extended Stay

‘General Hospital’ spoilers include news that Anna [Finola Hughes] is leaving Port Charles for California. Anna is desperately in need of some time with Robin [Kimberly McCullough] and Emma [Brooklyn Rae Silzer].

Finola Hughes’ last air date will be Friday, July 8. But don’t worry, Anna will be back eventually. The actress just needs a little time off for a summer vacation. Finola also took a break from ‘GH’ in the summer of 2015, branching out to direct and produce a couple of movies.

Anna embarking on a journey to visit Robin and Emma is certainly a very natural thing for a mother and grandmother to do. ‘GH’ fans will most likely see Anna return to Port Charles in the fall, perhaps around the time Emma returns to school.

After a very trying year Anna definitely deserves some time away. Holding her breath waiting for the police to discover Carlos’s [Jeffrey Vincent Parise] body only to discover that the gangster was alive and well would be enough to push anyone over the edge. Some quite time with her girls in California is just what Anna needs.

‘General Hospital’ viewers will say goodbye to Anna for now. But there are plenty of other storylines that are heating up, including the arrival of Nathan’s [Ryan Paevey] ex-wife Claudette [Bree Williamson] on Friday, July 1, just one week before Anna leaves town.

Jax [Ingo Rademacher] is also making a return to Port Charles. He should arrive on Friday, July 29. Carly’s [Laura Wright] ex-husband is bound to stir up trouble. Anna will have her hands full when she returns home!
