General Hospital’s Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) will be directing a new TV show. It is a supernatural show, entitled “Cypress Bayou”, and is a New Villains Production. It will be starring Chase R. Coleman, Michelle B. West, Jeremi and Justin Farrar… just to name a few, and is currently location shooting in and around Charenton, Louisiana, and its surrounding Bayou and Cypress Groves. The Farrar twins will be portraying villains who are also practitioners of Voodoo, which is a ‘dark art’ or ‘dark magic’, and is very prevalent in Louisiana.
Cypress Bayou is being called, “A Place of Miss and Dreams that holds the Most Ancient of All Magic, both Light and Dark”, by New Villains Productions.

Ms. Hughes is in the beginning stages of production and there has been no release dates mentioned as yet. This new endeavor will be Finola’s third stint as a director.

In 2015, she was both director and executive producer for her second film, a romantic comedy, entitled Byrd and the Bees.
Finola was born in London, England, in 1960, and has trained in dance and performing arts at the Arts Educational Schools, in London. In 1981, she originated the role of Victoria the White Cat in the London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Cats”.
In 1983, who can forget her riveting performance as Laura; opposite John Travolta in the musical film Staying Alive, which was a sequel to Saturday Night Fever?
