‘General Hospital’ News: Dr. Brad Cooper Is Back – Parry Shen Teases ‘GH’ Return

‘General Hospital’s Parry Shen is back taping scenes in the studio. The actor took to twitter on October 18^th and posted a picture of the lab coat that his character Brad wears on the set as well as his badge that displays his name “Brad Cooper”.

Shen posted a message to his followers “Well hello old friend, it’s good to see you again.’  This is no doubt great news for GH fans as many have missed seeing Brad on-screen. Shen has not been on GH since Brad and Lucas’ wedding, which took place several months back.

There is no word yet where he will be working for sure since the hospital was shut down and put up for sale. It is possible that Brad will somehow tie into the solution into getting the hospital back up and running. We know Brad is a lab tech so he would have to work at the hospital. There are many possibilities about what storyline Brad could have. Will it involve Lucas? Are these two still happily married or is there trouble in paradise?

Viewers no doubt will want to know why and where Brad has been for all these months since he just dropped out of site without warning. Perhaps he has returned after learning about the death of Sabrina Santiago. We know Felix and Brad were good friends, maybe he is back to be a friend to Felix.

Of course, viewers know Brad wasn’t always a favorable character. Off and on through the year 2013, Brad unremittingly pursued Felix while he worked with Dr. Britt Westborne (Kelly Thiebaud) to break up Patrick and Sabrina several years back. As the years went by, Brad’s character gradually industrialized into a more dimensional character and his softer side began to show especially when he met Felix and then later Lucas. Now Shen is back and we can’t wait to see what extraordinary work Shen has to bring back to General Hospital this time around. No word yet on Shen’s comeback official airdate but we will keep you informed. Stay tuned!
