‘General Hospital’ News: Bradford Anderson Shares Hilarious Video After Officiating ‘JaSam’ Wedding

What would JaSam say…if Prince officiated their wedding? Soap fans, check out this hilarious clip of “General Hospital” star Bradford Anderson (Damien Spinelli) sounding just like the Purple One in “Let’s Go Crazy.”  

“OFFICIATE THIS,” Anderson captioned the short but mischievous video. Anderson is a crack up as he points to the book he’s holding, stares at the camera and utters, “JaSam.” As GH fans know, Anderson’s alter ego played it straight when he wed Jason Quartermaine (Billy Miller) and Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) this week. But wouldn’t it have been cool if he mixed up the staid verses with some original “Ace of Cyberspace” word play?

The Jackel has been a regular visitor to Port Charles since moving to Portland with his family. Still, GH fans cannot get enough of the geeky techno-nerd. “I wish you were on more…love ya!” “Wish you were full time,” “Glad you officiated, seemed fitting!” fans wrote.

So, GH fans, was the soap opera wedding of the year everything you thought it would be? Was it worth the wait to see the Noodle Buddha-loving couple make it legit?

The ceremony was touching, the guests were beautiful and the love was real. But I was a little disappointed when the ceremony culminated without a traditional soapy twist. No one returned from the dead to disrupt the vows. No one objected when given the chance. What’s the soap world coming to?

Instead, the day climaxed with Sam’s happy announcement that there is a little JaSam bun in the oven. It was sweet to see the reactions of the couple’s loved ones. Come to think of it, it was a nice change of pace to see a soap wedding take place without a hitch.

The joining of Stone Cold and Fair Samantha into wedded bliss was worth the wait. Now the wait for Little JaSam’s arrival begins. Here’s hoping that the next JaSam family milestone is every bit as joyful as this one was!
