‘General Hospital’ News: Ashley Jones Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Congratulations are in order for ‘General Hospital’ star Ashley Jones [Parker] who gave birth to a baby boy, Hayden Joel, on May 24th. Hayden was born weighing 7lb, 90z. Jones confirmed with People Magazine the good news saying “He’s here! Thank you, @PEOPLEbabies ”.  You can check out People’s exclusive picture of baby Hayden right here.

Earlier this year Jones spoke with People Magazine about her first pregnancy. She was extremely delighted to be expecting her first child. “Becoming a mother has been a lifelong dream of mine. It seems surreal that it’s now happening,” She told People. “Although life as we know it will forever change, Joel and I can’t wait to meet this baby,” she added.

Jones and Henricks reportedly tied the knot at a small courthouse in February of this year. It was on March 11th that it was announced that Jones and her husband Joel Henricks were expecting their first child together. Henricks already has a son from a previous relationship whom he named Huck. Congratulations to both of them!

Currently, Jones is on a recurring basis over at GH, she is expected to reprise the role of Parker Forsyth later this summer. What will be her storyline then? Will we finally meet Parker’s wife? Will she pursue something with Kristina [Lexi Ainsworth]? Will she be jealous when she learns Kristina is seeing Aaron [John DeLuca]?

Jones is also well known for playing the part of Megan Dennison on ‘The Young and the Restless’ and Bridget Forrester on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Bridget is a role she has played on contract from 2004 – 2010 and later on recurring from 2011 – present. Although she is currently working on GH, she makes brief appearances on B&B from time to time.
