‘General Hospital’ News: Anthony Montgomery Teases Ava And Andre Pairing – Could It Work?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) hook up? Looks like you may be in luck someday, Anthony Montgomery tweeted a picture of himself and Maura saying “Can’t wait for #DrAndreMaddox to be paired with the INCREDIBLE #AvaJerome! #GHSpectacularSpring #Hollywoodgrinding.”

We all know how the daytime world works, no couple in daytime lasts forever. So Maddox’s pairing with Jordan will soon hit a snag and he will have to find somebody else. Jordan has secrets that we know may soon come to light, and Jordan and Andre could call it quits soon and that will leave the door open for another woman to walk in to Andre’s life. While many were thinking it would be Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), it looks like it could be mob ‘gangstress’ Ava Jerome.

Certainly this would be an interesting pair. Maura West is a longtime daytime fan favorite, and throughout her years has had some of the best pairings in daytime. From ‘As the World Turns’ to ‘The Young and the Restless’  and then ‘General Hospital’, she has some awesome chemistry with the guys she has worked with. Since things ended with Morgan (Bryan Craig) and the fling between Paul (Richard Burgi) and her ended, she is in need of a hot new guy. As sad as it would be to see things end between Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Dr. Maddox end, we would love to see what Ava and Andre bring to the table.

Fans are already creating ship names for the possible pair, one tweet stood out though. A fan responded to his tweet saying “@MrAMontgomery Oh heck YES! Smooth Andre & mercurial Ava would be quite a pair! @MauraWest is THE BEST! #BringOn some A ‘n’ A action #GH!”
