‘General Hospital’ News: Alum Julie Berman Promoted To Series Regular On Hulu’s Show ‘Casual’

Former ‘General Hospital’ Actress Julie Marie Berman has become a series regular on ‘Casual’ – a Hulu original series. Berman is a three time Emmy award-winning actress who played the role of Lulu Spencer Falconeri from October 25, 2005 to 2013.

Berman was very popular in the role of Lulu Falconeri, so much so that fans were really disappointed when she made the decision to leave ‘General Hospital’. Upon leaving the ABC series Berman has been on several primetime series such as Two and a Half Men, Jane the Virgin, Satisfaction and Chicago Med. Besides her appearances in these primetime series she played the recurring role of Leia on Casual in the first season, now comes news reported by Serial Scoop that Berman has been made a series regular for the show’s second season.
Casual is an American comedy created by Zander Lehmann. The show premiered on Hulu back in October of 2015, after its first season reports came that the show was picked up for a second season containing thirteen episodes. Leia is Valerie’s (Michaela Watkins) assistant; Valerie is the lead character of the series. The show is about a bachelor brother and his divorced sister living in the same house. They together coach each other about the crazy world of dating while raising her teenage daughter.
Season two of Casual premieres later this year with a popular cast. So Berman fans are you excited for the upcoming season of the series?
