‘General Hospital’ Interview: Laura Wright Dishes On Filming CarSon Scenes, What Will Come Of Carly and Sonny?

‘General Hospital’ Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] and Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] are a couple with staying power. Fans adore them whether they’re happy or furious with each other. There’s a reason this ‘GH’ super couple is immensely popular.

In a recent ABC Soaps in Depth interview Laura Wright revealed that there are ordinary, everyday things couples do that she brings into a scene in order to make Carly and Sonny’s chemistry and connection believable. Laura uses those same techniques to foster a true to life relationship with Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell], Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] and Josslyn Jacks [Eden McCoy].

Laura explained, ‘I love touching Josslyn, Michael and Morgan in scenes.” Having a physical connection to her children also fosters a deep emotional connection. And the one thing more important than Carly’s relationship with Sonny is her relationship with Morgan, Michael and Josslyn.

Not only does Laura Wright like to incorporate touching the kids, she revealed that she is “always touching Maurice in scenes.” What ordinary things does Laura do on set to bring an honest chemistry to Carly and Sonny’s relationship?

While filming one scene on the ‘General Hospital’ set Laura Wright admitted that she took off her shoes, put her feet up on Maurice and let him rub her legs. That’s just something a husband and wife would do after a long day and exhausting day of staying one step ahead of the law and managing the Metro Court?

Carly and Sonny’s relationship has taken a turn for the worse since Morgan’s death. Carly blames Sonny for Morgan’s death and has packed up Josslyn and moved out. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers tease that Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks is headed back to Port Charles to comfort Carly.

In the aftermath of the car explosion that claimed Morgan’s life will Carly cheat on Sonny with Jax? ‘General Hospital’ rumors indicate that a distraught Carly might be angry enough with Sonny that she will use an adulterous affair to block out the pain.
