‘General Hospital’ Interview: Kimberly McCullough Discusses Exit, And Happy Ending For Robin Scorpio – Whether Robin Will Return To ‘GH’

‘General Hospital’ star Kimberly McCullough sat down with ‘Good Day LA‘ this week to discuss her latest project – the hit teen drama Pretty Little Liars on Freeform (formerly ABC Family).  It’s no secret that Kimberly has been working hard honing her craft as a director – and on Tuesday January 26 the episode of PLL airing was directed by our very own ‘GH‘ star!  Kimberly has been teasing her followers on Twitter about the episode of ‘PLL‘ she directed – and the big day is finally here, we get to see Kimberly’s masterpiece at 8:00 PM on Freeform.

Of course during her interview with Good Day LA, talk turned to Kimberly’s recent return and exit as Robin Scorpio-Drake.  As always, it was devastating to see Robin go (again) – but at least this time she rode off in to the sunset with her husband Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and daughter Emma (Brooklyn Silzer).  So, in a way Robin’s exit truly was bitter-sweet.

Kimberly McCullough feels as torn about her exit from the ABC soap opera as we do, the actress explained in her interview, “I think this was good for the fans, because Robin and Patrick really deserved their happy ending. It felt like closure.  But I have to say I’m really sad that I don’t get to see Brooklyn Silzer (ex-Emma) on my television anymore.  But I’ll see her in real life!”

Kimberly also hinted that ‘General Hospital‘ fans may not have saw the last of her on the ABC soap opera.  When asked if there was a chance of Robin Scorpio-Drake returning in the future, the actress coyly responded, “It’s never forever on a soap.”
