‘General Hospital’ Interview: Frank Valentini Dishes On JaSam’s Future, Franco And Liz Romance, Plus Carlos Rivera’s Twin

With only a few weeks of Summer left and Fall around the corner on General Hospital, you can look forward to some intriguing storylines and lots more drama. GH fans have been expressing their feelings on how they would like some storylines to go and it looks like they may just get their way.

On Air Soaps caught up with the man at the helm of the series, executive producer Frank Valentini and he had lots to say. After being asked about if there any major developments for Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) Frank Valentini says “I can say there is so much going on with Jason and Sam in the next couple of months, and it’s going to be pretty intense as well.” This is what GH fans have been longing to hear. Does this make you excited?

Frank Valentini also reveals that “The Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) pairing is very solid, and very interesting, and we are capitalizing on that.” A lot of fans are excited about Franco and Liz being a couple and then there are others that are not. How do you feel about it?

When GH producer Frank Valentini was asked who’s idea it was to bring back Jeffrey Vincent Parise as Carlos’s twin Dr. Joe Rivera, he revealed that it was all his idea and he had asked the writers to do it cause he thought it could be fun and a little surprising. So do you agree with him? A lot of fans were not happy of the idea but I guess we will just have to see where his character goes before we judge further on.

Frank also dished to Michael Fairman that it was a big risk bringing Michael Easton back as Dr. Finn but it was something they felt strongly about doing. He goes on to say Michael is a personal friend of his and he wanted to give him something very different then any and all characters he has ever played on daytime. Are you liking the character of Dr. Finn? A lot of fans would like to see him with Hayden (Rebecca Budig).
