‘General Hospital’ (GH) News: Rebecca Budig Celebrates Daughter Charlotte’s Birthday

‘General Hospital’ actress Rebecca Budig [Hayden Barnes] is happy as she celebrates her daughter’s 2nd birthday. Budig’s first child Charlotte Jo Benson was celebrating her birthday yesterday after being born on September 8, 2014. Budig took to Twitter and Instagram wishing her daughter a happy birthday. “Happy 2nd birthday to my sweet baby girl….even when you like to say you are 4,” the GH Actress shared.

Budig posted a sweet picture of young Charlotte sitting down in bed holding on to what appears to be a nail clip. After her post several fans wished the young angel a happy birthday and several of her ‘General Hospital’ co-stars as well. Maura West [Ava Jerome] and Michelle Stafford [Nina Reeves] both replied to Budig’s tweet wishing young Charlotte a happy birthday. West replied “So Sweet!!! Happy birthday, baby beauty…and to your wonderful mommy, too!!” Shortly after Stafford replied “Happy birthday gorgeous girl!”

While Budig is the youngest of seven siblings, Charlotte is her first child. She is married to Michael Benson who is a television marketing executive. After their engagement on Christmas Day in 2010, the two tied the knot in 2012. Just two years after being married Budig announced her pregnancy with Charlotte when she was five months along. She later gave birth to her first child and daughter on September 8th, 2014 and named her Charlotte Jo Benson.

Budig is well known to daytime fans having spent years on defunct soap operas such as ‘All My Children’ and ‘Guiding Light’. Her most current and present daytime role is that of Hayden Barnes on ‘General Hospital’. She was originally brought on for a brief stint but was well received hence the show brought her back on contract. We here at SOS wish to say happy belated birthday to little Charlotte!
