‘General Hospital’ Casting News: Dixon Revealed – Troy Ruptash Cast as Big Bad Gun Runner

‘General Hospital’ (GH) casting news reveals that Troy Ruptash has been cast as Port Charles newest villain Dixon. He’s the gun runner that Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] has been keen to impress. We know Dixon has an affiliation with Raj, the gun running go between.

GH spoilers indicate that Dixon is coming into town for this major shipment and wants to meet face to face with both Paul and Ava Jerome [Maura West]. But Ava is at the wedding and Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] is wise to the gun deal and plans to bust it up.

Ruptash is one of those ruggedly handsome actors that you’ve seen in guest spots on every major primetime TV show for the past decade including – Law & Order, ER, Nash Bridges, West Wing, Boston Public, CSI, Mad Men, Supernatural, Justified, Murder in the First – and many, many more.

GH spoilers also have Ruptash first slated to appear as Dixon on Monday, February 22 and a recent GH spoilers video of the Julexis wedding shows a man busting in and interrupting the nuptials – and it looks like it’s Dixon!

After he crashes the wedding, it looks like Dixon will hold Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] at gunpoint while Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] tries to play cop but may have to stand down because Dixon will have a gun on the PC mobster. Meanwhile Raj makes trouble at the docks.

Did Dixon come to the church because Sonny’s henchmen fouled up his gun deal? We also know that Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] will be on the docks. Raj and his guys are aware that Morgan has been lurking around, but Ava assured them Morgan would be at the wedding. He won’t.

So far, there’s no word on how long Dixon will be in Port Chuck or whether he will survive his showdown with Sonny. Since Dixon knows Paul is corrupt, could the dirty DA take Dixon out rather than allow him to be arrested? Will Dixon survive his Port Charles antics?
