‘Empire’ Season 3 Spoilers: Xzibit Promoted To Series Regular – What Will He Reveal About Lucious?

The season 2 finale of Empire featured the debut of Leslie Johnson, aka, Shyne, portrayed by Rapper Xzibit. During the ill-fated wedding of Hakeem and Laura, Shyne an old acquaintance of Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), made his cameo appearance.

Empire has such energetic, emotional and complicated storylines to follow, from the beginning of the Lucious and Cookie saga to the current dilemmas in the music industry. It is no secret that several main characters over the years have gotten their hands “dirty”, to acquire their desired outcomes. Now that you have an old rival, Shyne, from the no rules, street beginning days in the mix of matured and professional company, how much will he reveal about Lucious’ past.

It has now been released by Xzibit himself via Instagram, “Very happy to announce that I will be a series regular on the upcoming 3rd season of @empirefox. Thankful for the opportunity and excited to “bring it” with the rest of the stellar cast already in place. #blessed #Workhard #stayhumble.”

During the season 3 episodes of Empire, I’m sure that the FBI would love to hear what Shyne has to offer. Will Shyne maintain the silence pact between himself and Lucious regarding the murder of three rival dealers from their past? What will Lucious and Cookie do to maintain their secrets? We all know that murder is not beneath them, we have already seen that.

Empire has set the scene for the upcoming premier of season 3, with all of the cliffhangers and conflicting story lines leaked into the general population. Will Xzibit have a major impact in the Lyon’s music industry, what will be his influence in the upcoming season?

Every fan will be sitting in their seats for the premier of Episode 3 on September 21, 2016 at 9pm.
