Empire Season 3 Spoilers: Sneak Peek Photos – Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Jussie Smollett, And More!

Empire spoilers tease that the FOX drama’s Season 3 premiere is set to air on Wednesday September 21, 2016 – and we can barely contain our excitement.  Throughout the summer Empire spoilers have been steadily rolling in, including same major casting news like Mariah Carey and Phylicia Rashad’s guest roles.  The Empire cast has been hard at work in Chicago filming Season 3, and this week FOX released some exciting new sneak peek photos.

Empire spoilers recently revealed that Taye Diggs has joined the Season 3 cast as Angelo Dubois.  Taye’s character will be stirring up some major drama in Fall 2016 episodes, the smooth and suave politician will be a new love interest for Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson), and of course that will mean that he will bump heads with Cookie’s ex Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard).

Meanwhile, fan favorite Jamal Lyon, who is portrayed by the very talented Jussie Smollett will have an intriguing storyline of his own in Season 3.  Between his family’s drama, and a new love interest (his counselor), Jamal will be strongly impacted by the Season 2 shooting and it will have some detrimental effects on his career.  Of course, no one will be as affected by the Season 2 drama as Jamal’s brother Andre.  Regardless of how the cookie crumbles, Andre  Trai Byers) will lose his wife, whether she passes away or goes to prison for murder.
