EastEnders spoilers tease that fans of the BBC soap will not want to miss the special Christmas episode airing on December 25. It won’t be all joy and holiday cheer on the EastEnders’ Christmas special – spoilers indicate that fans are going to want to buckle down and grab their tissues, because we may be saying goodbye to good ol’ Phil Mitchell.
EastEnders spoilers and rumors have been teasing for quite a while now that Steve McFadden’s time on the soap opera may be winding down. And, Phil Mitchell has put up a good fight against his health problems. But, spoilers tease that on Christmas day Phil will announce that he is tired of fighting, and he is ready to die. Will his family let him give up that easily though?

At this point, those close to Phil will be torn. Obviously they don’t want to say goodbye to the beloved EastEnders character, but at the same point they don’t want to see him suffer any longer either. Rumor has it that Christmas Day may have tearful and emotional farewell scene.
