Daytime Emmy News: ‘AMC’ Alum Cameron Mathison Covering 2016 Red Carpet For Entertainment Tonight

In Daytime Emmy 2016 news, Cameron Mathison [‘AMC’ Ryan Lavery] will be on the red carpet for ‘Entertainment Tonight.’ He shared the news on social media. Cameron wants to know what questions fans think he should ask their favorite daytime stars.

Ryan made the announcement by sharing a photo of himself and his beautiful wife Vanessa on Instagram as well as Facebook. “I’ve got my date for the Daytime #Emmys this weekend:) #entertainmenttonight Will be on the #redcarpet with all of your favorite daytime stars. What would you like me to ask? #generalhospital #theyoungandtherestless #theboldandthebeautiful #daysofourlives #datenight.”

A few of the questions fans would like answered include, “what do [soap opera stars] think fans could do to bring daytime TV the attention it deserves. So we don’t lose anymore great soaps.” An ‘All My Children’ fan wants an answer to a burning question that has never been answered! “I STILL WONDER WHO DIED FROM JR’S GUN…not the one in Texas the one on AMC…was it Erica???”

So soap fans, if you have any questions you want to ask this year’s Daytime Emmy Award nominees – you better head over to Cameron Mathison’s Facebook page and let him know.  Sadly, the actual awards’ ceremony won’t be broadcast on television this year, but it looks like Entertainment Tonight will have a ton of coverage, and there will be live Periscope videos on Twitter all night long on Sunday May 1.
