‘Days Of Our Lives’ Weekly Spoilers June 20-24: Abigail Escapes After Final Faceoff with Ben – Poignant ‘Chabby’ Fantasy Ends Kate Mansi’s Run

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the week of June 20-24 tease that Abigail (Kate Mansi) will continue to face visions of Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Abby has been tormented by her cruel ex for months. Even though Ben isn’t actually there, it still feels real to Abigail. All of these horrible hallucinations are taking a toll.

DOOL spoilers say Ben will appear once more to tell Abigail that she started the fire. He’ll add that they’re going to ship her to a downstate psychiatric facility for the rest of her life. Abigail wasn’t trying to put anyone in harm’s way. She just wanted to finish Ben off. Right now, Abby doesn’t even recall setting the blaze.

Nevertheless, charges could be looming. Abigail will fear that Ben’s words could come true. Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) have already been informed that Abby may be moved to a high-security facility. JJ (Casey Moss) will end up passing the news along to his sister.

Abigail certainly doesn’t want to remain locked up in a mental institution forever. While Chad forms an escape plan, Abigail will take matters into her own hands. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Abigail will create a diversion. When Dr. Robinson (Anne-Marie Johnson) goes to investigate, Abigail will climb out the window in her office.

Abigail will quickly make her getaway, but that won’t be how Kate Mansi wraps up her run on “Days.” Instead, Mansi’s final moments will involve a sweet fantasy. Abigail will daydream about spending time with Chad and Thomas. “Chabby” fans should soak up these last few minutes of bliss.

Of course, we still have a new Abigail to look forward to. Marci Miller will debut in the role this fall. Mansi’s portrayal of Abigail has been phenomenal, but Miller deserves a chance to put her own spin on the character.

Recasts are just part of the soap biz. There’s always an adjustment period, but we could easily grow to love Miller as our beloved Abby. DOOL rumors hint that Miller will have some epic plot twists to work with. Great material is definitely coming up for Abigail. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” for updates on the gripping drama ahead.
