‘Days Of Our Lives’ Weekly Spoilers: June 13-17: Burned Abigail Blames Ben for Starting Fire – Joey Rushed to Emergency Surgery, Steve and Kayla Worry

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the week of June 13-17 tease that some tense moments are coming up. DOOL viewers just watched Dirk (Reiley McClendon) spiral out of control at the commune. Joey (James Lastovic) has been shot and he’ll need emergency surgery right away.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will struggle to accept what Joey is going through. They’ll stand by Joey’s bedside and wait for updates on his condition. Steve will hug Kayla and cry that they can’t lose their son. Jade (Paige Searcy) will be pretty broken up about all of this as well. It’s her fault Joey even came back to the commune. Jade would never forgive herself if Joey died from his injuries.

Luckily, “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Joey will survive this battle. His road to recovery won’t be easy, but he’ll have plenty of support. The whole ordeal could end up bringing Steve and Kayla closer. Perhaps this will prove to Kayla that Joey can find danger without Steve’s help.

This week’s other big story will involve Abigail (Kate Mansi) and a fire at the mental institution. “Days” spoilers say Chad (Billy Flynn) will learn that Abby was injured in the blaze. He’ll rant about the security of the facility as he tries to figure out how this could’ve happened.

However, Chad soon turn his attention to Abigail and helping her cope. DOOL’s weekly preview video shows Abigail wearing a burn mask and bandages on her hands. She’ll insist that Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was responsible for flames that consumed the area. Unfortunately, it looks like this is another one of Abigail’s delusions. Her mental health continues to decline.

Once the police investigate, Chad will ask Shawn (Brandon Beemer) if they know what started the fire. Shawn will admit that they do and it’s not good news. DOOL rumors hint that Abigail may have actually set this blaze herself. Chad will begin to wonder if Shady Hills is really the best place for his wife.

Abby will beg Chad to get her out of Shady Hills next week and Chad will eventually agree. Alas, Abigail will escape on her own before Chad returns. Stay tuned to “Days of Our Lives” to watch Kate Mansi’s last air date.
