‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: What Does Deimos Want From Hope In Exchange For Prison Protection?

Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) life is in constant danger now that she’s an ex-cop behind bars on, “Days of Our Lives.” Every day is like a scene from, “Orange is the New Black,” save for the garish auburn outfits.

It makes sense that the other inmates hate Hope; until her incarceration they lived on opposite sides of the law. But when Hope confessed to murdering Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) she gained a permanent change of address.

In the clink Hope has more enemies than friends, although she has one important ally: Hattie (Deidre Hall). The other inmates bow down to Hattie and until this week she was able to protect Hope from their violence.

It doesn’t hurt that Hope has mad fight skills, too! She’s already showed off her police academy training on a few rowdy inmates, and was about to shank one particularly large felon, when a surprise visitor crashed the fight club this week.

No one was more amazed than Hope when shady Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) rushed in the room and saved Hope from becoming BFF’s with the baddest girl in the cellblock.

Deimos then vowed to protect Hope and keep her safe as long as she’s behind bars. As he later explained to his brother Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), Deimos remembers how awful his own life was like in prison and he simply wanted to do Hope a solid.

But is Deimos’ generosity as genuine as he claims it is? Or could Deimos have an ulterior motive?

Like it or not, Hope is indebted to Deimos now. Her friends on the police force will do anything for her, and if Deimos requests their “cooperation” they likely will look the other way as he conducts bogus shipping operations.

But what else could Deimos gain from helping Hope? Rumors are rampant that Hope will ultimately be found innocent and released. Could it be possible that “DOOL” fans will see a romance develop between these two in the near future?
