‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Steve Confesses To Ava’s Murder – Will He Go To Prison?

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Steve Johnson [Stephen Nichols] will confess to Ava Vitale’s [Tamara Braun] murder even though he knows Joey Johnson [James Lastovic] is the guilty party. The question is, will Steve go to prison for Joey’s crime? Or will both father and son walk way scot free?

Ava has upset the Johnson’s lives for months. Enough is enough and a very angry and intoxicated Joey sneaks into Ava’s hospital room. Before the young man can think twice, he smothers the troublemaker with a pillow.

Steve has no idea what is going on as he enters Ava’s room. It’s clear very quickly that Joey isn’t himself – and has committed a terrible crime. A terrified Steve rips Joey away from Ava only to discover she has no pulse – Ava is dead. Steve sends a terrified Joey home and takes the blame for the murder.

But will Steve go to prison for killing Ava’s murder? Kayla Johnson [Mary Beth Evans] knows the truth and she isn’t going to let her son go to prison. But Kayla is going to do everything she can to keep Steve from being locked up for Ava’s demise.

Roman Brady has a lot of questions but the Johnson’s are working together to keep Joey’s secret. Kayla will help Steve use self-defense as the reason he was responsible for Ava’s murder. After all, Ava has been the cause of the Johnson’s numerous problems for months. Self-defense would be a logical justification.

Will Steve end up in prison for a crime Joey committed? Or is there someone watching over Steve, someone who will help Steve stay out of prison and keep anyone from finding out Joey is the one who killed Ava. Is it possible no one will be held responsible for Ava’s death?
