‘Days of our Lives’ Spoilers: Meredith Scott Lynn Teases Anne’s “Dark” Side – Theresa’s Sidekick Finally Gets Romance?

‘Days of our Lives’  spoilers tease that the NBC soap opera seems to be shifting the focus from the dark storylines and aiming more towards romance. According to a recent interview that actress, Meredith Scott Lynn(Anne, DOOL) had with Soap Opera Digest, she dropped some spoilers to come for impending storylines.

As many Days of our Lives viewers are aware of, Anne has not had too many storylines recently, she only tends to be with Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley). Recently, we say Anne and Theresa worked together quite well when they shared scenes at the hospital. Anne also played a vital role on the show as an advocate for a young, troubled young girl. Many Days of our Lives viewers have been pondering on when Anne would get a storyline of her own, one that she can personally own and take charge in, not one that centers around other characters on the show. Viewers have been waiting for a long time and it looks like DOOL fans will finally get their wish.

Meredith Scott Lynn was very generous and dropped some spoilers on what’s to come for her character. Meredith Scott Lynn teases that her new storyline will be exciting. It will involve an astonishing twist. Her storyline will include Lucas (Bryan Dattilo).  She hinted that Anne will be seen arriving at the Dimera mansion looking for Chad (Billy Flynn). She runs into Lucas, who shows her kindness and a lends her a listening ear. It ends in Anne spending the night at Chad’s home and the Days Of Our Lives character develops a huge crush on Lucas in the process. Will he notice her infatuation? Perhaps in time!

Despite the fact that Lucas and Adrienne (Judi Evans) are planning to be wed very soon, there are rumors that Justin (Wally Kurth) is still in love with his ex-wife.   Of course, this will leave Lucas brokenhearted and all alone. Perhaps this will give Lucas a new woman to concentrate on, will Anne swoop in on him during his time of need? As many DOOL viewers know, Anne is not noted for being a great human being.  Will this new crush change Anne for the better? Perhaps they are taking a different route to her character and trying to redeem her on some level.  Meredith Scott Lynn detailed in her interview with SOD, “

No one should ever assume great intent with Anne, even though she’s a human with a heart. It’s just that usually her heart is set on something that is not so pure. Anne is a little deluded into thinking that every guy she wants probably wants her.”

So viewers, it does seem that Anne will have an infatuation on Lucas and believe he wants her, too. However, Lucas is in love with Adrienne. Knowing Anne’s history of doing anything to get what she wants and not letting anything stop her or get in her way, will Anne cause more trouble for Lucas or will she be a changed woman? With the news of Jen Lilley parting Days Of Our Lives, it is a way to give Anne a storyline. Remember, most of the time when Anne is seen, it has something to do with Theresa.
