‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Jennifer’s Shocking Relapse, Kayla and Belle Find Her with Pills and Booze – Belle Says She Won’t Tell Chad

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will have a tough time coping with her grief over Abigail’s (Kate Mansi) death. She’ll feel like she played a part in her daughter’s demise. Jennifer was busy with her own problems when Abigail started to go downhill. She wasn’t around to catch any of the early signs and Abigail quickly got worse.

Jennifer will think her addiction got in the way of helping Abigail through the crisis. Abby set herself on fire and eventually disappeared from the psychiatric facility. Now that Andre (Thaao Penghlis) has cooked up proof of Abigail’s passing, Jennifer is about to go over the edge. She’ll return to the pills that began her downward spiral.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Jennifer will get a room at a cheap motel so she can be alone with her painkillers. She’ll throw in some booze just to make sure she’s truly numb. Jennifer tried chatting with Jack (Matthew Ashford), but it didn’t put her in a better frame of mind. Deep down, Jennifer knows those aren’t real visits from her deceased husband. Jack is just in her head, which means his appearances aren’t all that comforting.

DOOL spoilers indicate that Chad (Billy Flynn) will also struggle with this great loss. He’ll eventually determine that Thomas would be better off in Jennifer’s care. Chad will tell Belle (Martha Madison) that he’s caving in and signing over custody to Jennifer. They’ll make plans to draw up the papers.

Of course, Chad will have no idea that Jennifer is having a relapse somewhere. Later, Belle and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will manage to track Jennifer down, wake her up and bring her home. Jennifer will be stunned when she realizes she’s been caught. Her shock will soon turn to embarrassment and fear.

“Days” spoilers say Jennifer will ask Belle to keep her mouth shut about this. She’ll insist that this was a simple slipup. Jennifer won’t want Chad to hear the truth. Belle will be hesitant to keep this dangerous secret, but she’ll ultimately agree.

Still, Belle surely knows that Jennifer shouldn’t keep Thomas in this risky condition. Perhaps Belle will make giving up the custody battle part of the deal. Regardless, “Days of Our Lives” rumors hint that we have two potentially unfit guardians here. Chad and Jennifer may not be up to the task of caring for Thomas.
