‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Monday May 9: Hope Holds Aiden at Gunpoint, Makes an Arrest – Flashbacks Explain Andre’s Impostor Swap on Wedding Night

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Monday, May 9, tease that we’ll see a very special episode of the NBC soap. DOOL viewers will be on the edge of their seats as Hope (Kristian Alfonso) deals with the madness of Aiden’s (Daniel Cosgrove) return. Hope thought Aiden was dead. How could he possibly be standing in front of her?

It turns out there’s an explanation for everything, but Hope won’t be in the mood to listen. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Hope will lunge at Aiden and grab her gun. She’ll quickly make an arrest and Aiden will be taken to the police station for questioning.

Roman (Josh Taylor) and Rafe (Galen Gering) will be be puzzled by this situation as well, but Aiden won’t agree to speak with them. He’ll want a chance to tell Hope the whole story. After talking it over with Rafe and Roman, Hope will decide she wants to know the truth. They won’t think Hope should put herself through this, but she’ll feel like she needs answers.

“Days” spoilers indicate that flashbacks will tell us what really went down. We’ll learn that Aiden was indeed working for Andre (Thaao Penghlis) and Stefano (Joseph Mascolo). Aiden also plotted to kill Hope for her insurance money, but he changed his mind at the last minute.

When Aiden came downstairs on their wedding night, he donned his black disguise and grabbed a necktie. As the reality of what he was about to do hit him, Aiden chickened out and made a break for it. He was stunned when he saw his doppelganger standing outside. Andre knocked Aiden out and he woke up in captivity.

Now Aiden is back with a reunion on his mind. When Hope gets filled in later this week, she won’t be sure she should believe all of this wackiness. Since Aiden’s fingerprints will be missing from the system at the station, Hope won’t have any confirmation. She’ll fear that the Aiden sitting in front of her is actually the impostor.

Even if Hope decides she believes Aiden, he’s still pretty shady. After all, Aiden was working for the DiMeras and he planned Hope’s murder. Aiden didn’t go through with it, but he considered killing the woman he claims to love.
