Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Baby Drama – Chloe’s Baby Not a Kiriakis, What Happened?

When Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) returned to Days of Our Lives (Days), we knew that trouble wasn’t going to be far behind.  Her latest return began with her rescuing Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) from dying at the hands of Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).  It came as a shock to Days’ fans that Chloe was living so close to Salem all this time.

Last week on Days of Our Lives, Deimos had presented a court order, thanks Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), at Chloe’s Dr. visit and demanded a DNA test be performed to confirm that he was the baby’s daddy, and not his nephew, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).  Chloe freaks out and her and Philip do the unthinkable.  They approach Philip’s mother, Kate Roberts to switch the DNA tests so it would prove that Philip is the father and not Deimos.

This week Days of Our Lives begins with the reveal of the DNA tests.  A devastated Deimos returns home to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) defeated, the results come back that he is not the father.  Deimos tells Nicole how he had life all planned out and how he would raise his son with Nicole.  At the same time, Kate arrives at the clinic to tell Philip and Chloe she is sorry she didn’t get a chance to switch the tests.

Days’ Philip Kiriakis is livid with Chloe, and demands to know who the real baby daddy is; because we all know he hasn’t slept with Chloe in years, so it is impossible for him to be the father.  The problem is Chloe is as confused as Philip.  She was positive that Deimos was the father, since he is the only one she has slept with in years.

Philip feels betrayed, and Kate uses that vulnerability to her advantage; she hopes that once Deimos learns that Philip isn’t the father either, that Chloe will be out of their lives for good.  One has to wonder though, is Kate lying?  There is a strong possibility, that her hatred for Chloe runs deeper than her love for her son.

More likely than not, Kate was able to get into the clinic and changed the results to a complete stranger; causing Chloe to be out of the Kiriakis mansion and completely on her own.  Day of Our Lives have been telling the story that Chloe and Nicole are best friends, now that the DNA tests say Chloe was lying about Deimos, where will Nicole’s loyalties lie?

Days of Our Lives’ Nicole is slowly falling in love with Deimos, and she was willing to keep Chloe’s secret that her baby was Deimos.  How will Nicole deal with the deception, or will Nicole see through the façade, and figure out that Kate is behind all of this?
