‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Are Daniel Cosgrove’s Days Numbered At DOOL?

It looks like there may be another cast cut on “Days Of Our Lives.” Several cast members have been fired from the show due budget cuts and it looks as if one more may be added to the list. There was a mysterious tweet online by Wally Kurth (Justin) implying that Daniel Cosgrove (Aiden) has been let go from the soap opera.

Wally Kurth recently went online to post a message to his fans about his co-star Daniel Cosgrove. Kurth posted that he will miss Cosgrove and he enjoyed the time they spent working together. This message made fans curious about Cosgrove’s stay on the show. The message seemed to imply that Cosgrove has either quit or been fired from the show again. To make things even more mysterious, Kurth didn’t respond to his post about Cosgrove when fans expressed how they felt about the news. Kurth’s lack of response to the post left viewers wanting to scratch their heads about Cosgrove’s status on the show.

Even though Kurth didn’t respond to his tweet, it looks like the writing is on the wall for the actor again. This will be the second time that the actor was fired from the soap. He was fired last year when it was believed that he was killed off the show. Cosgrove was written back into the show this spring. Fans were excited for his return.

The writers decided to rewrite his story in order to bring him back to the show. It turns out that Aiden wasn’t the one who died after all. Aiden told Hope (Kristian Alfonso) that a double tried to kill her and he was innocent. Hope believed that she married Aiden and that he tried to kill her on their wedding night. Hope thought that Bo (Peter Reckell) killed Aiden. Aiden explained to her that he was held captive for months and that the double was the one she was married to all along.

Hope knows the truth about Aiden. He lied to her and turned out to be the one that she married. Now that the truth is out, Hope doesn’t want anything to do with him. Where does this leave the character of Aiden? With the way that Aiden’s storyline changed and the mysterious tweet, are Cosgrove’s days on the show numbered for a second time in less than a year?
