‘Days Of Our Lives’ RUMOR: Jennifer Horton Struggles With Pain And Anxiety After Accident – Downward Spiral And Painkiller Addiction Coming?

Days of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) spoilers indicate that Jennifer Horton [Melissa Reeves] is hiding the fact that she is in severe pain. Will Jennifer admit to doctors that she’s in pain – and then become addicted to pain killers?

The tragic accident on New Year’s Eve that took Dr. Daniel Jonas’s [Shawn Christian] life may have caused more serious injuries than Jennifer is letting on. Is it obvious that Jen is hiding the severity of her pain from her children Abigail Deveraux [Kate Mansi] and JJ Deveraux [Casey Moss]? Will Jenn’s children catch on before it’s too late?

Will doctors discover Jennifer is in agony and prescribe pain medications? This would certainly set Melissa Reeves up for one heck of a storyline. “DAYS” fans – don’t you think it has been much too long since Jennifer Horton has been on the front burner?

Is it possible that the death of ex-fiancé Daniel has caused Jennifer more mental anguish than she is admitting? The combination of physical and emotional pain is what may lead Jen to seek comfort in a bottle of prescription medication.

This wouldn’t be the first time TPTB at “Days of Our Lives” have dealt with an addiction storyline. Maggie Kiriakis [Suzanne Rogers] – once married to Mickey Horton [originally portrayed by John Clarke] – is a recovering alcoholic. In fact, Maggie has sponsored several Salem residents in their sobriety. Lucas Roberts [Bryan Dattilo] is also in recovery from alcohol addiction.

“DOOL” viewers do you think it’s possible that Jennifer Horton will become addicted to pain medications? Is it possible that if Jen does find herself spiraling out of control that Maggie and Lucas will intervene before Jennifer hits rock bottom?
