Days of Our Lives RUMOR: Chloe Refuses To Hand Over Nicole’s Baby – Custody Battle Ensues?

On “Days of Our Lives,” Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) life is finally starting to turn a corner for the better. Just in time for the holidays, she received an ethereal visit from her dearly departed fiancé, Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian).

The kind, unselfish doctor urged her to move on with her life, and gave his approval for a romance with sketchy Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry).

Unfortunately for Nicole, that advice may prove to be a major stumbling block as she gets her life back on track. If rumors are true, it looks like Nicole may be facing a major custody battle in the near future!

In addition to a solid, loving relationship, Nicole has always wanted a baby. So much so that at a distant point in the past she resorted to kidnapping!

Now Nicole is in line to finally have it all, even though she has no clue that her baby is about to be born. Huh? Well folks, it seems that her bestie Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) secretly had Nicole’s embryo implanted in herself, with the altruistic goal of giving Nicole a baby.

But boy did that goal go off the rails once Deimos entered the picture. Chloe doesn’t approve of Deimos, with good reason. He strong-armed her when he thought he could be her baby’s father, and now has resorted to some major nastiness with her sometime boyfriend, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier).

DOOL viewers got an eyeful this week when Deimos injected a bound and half-naked Philip with truth serum. He suspects that Chloe’s baby is really Nicole and Daniel’s, but will his efforts to get the truth provoke Chloe into keeping the baby?

If Nicole sticks with Deimos, as Daniel urged her to do, she could find herself locked in an epic custody battle with her BFF.

If the rumors about Chloe’s upcoming decision prove true, she will have a strong case for custody. Nicole is a former felon and Deimos is a current devil. What do you think DOOL fans, will Chloe prove determined to raise Nicole’s baby?
