‘Days of Our Lives’ Poll: Who’s the Worst DOOL Mom? Hope, Belle, Kate or Eve! VOTE!

“Days of Our Lives” fans know that family ties are an important part of the NBC soap. DOOL has some great mothers along with some not-so-great ones. Which mom is the absolute worst? Take a look at our top four contenders and cast your vote.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso)

First, there’s Hope (Kristian Alfonso). She’s been through more drama than any human should have to endure. She was attacked by Aiden’s (Daniel Cosgrove) impostor and forced to say goodbye to the love of her life, Bo (Peter Reckell). That sent Hope on a downward spiral and she became quickly obsessed with vengeance.

No one could blame Hope for being angry, but did she really have to take things that far? While Hope was busy with her revenge mission, Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) was left to suffer alone. She assumed her new stepfather was a monster and she had to deal with the loss of her beloved dad. Hope should’ve been around for all of that.

Chase (Jonathon McClendon) was growing closer to Ciara during that time and we all know how that turned out. Instead of truly focusing on helping her daughter heal, Hope has now turned her attention to her current love triangle. Perhaps Hope’s choice should’ve been Ciara rather than Rafe (Galen Gering) or Aiden.

Belle (Martha Madison)

Next, we have Belle (Martha Madison). She’s just lucky she somehow managed to get a teen with a decent head on her shoulders. Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) got in some minor trouble with the law, but overall she’s a pretty good kid. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) is probably responsible for that.

Belle certainly isn’t a very involved parent. She always manages to fit in her booty calls, but what about being there for Claire? Maybe Belle should spend a little less time in bed with her heartthrobs and a little more time with her daughter. Belle seems to be trying, but she should try harder.

Kate (Lauren Koslow)

Kate (Lauren Koslow) is definitely one of the worst moms on “Days of Our Lives” as well. How long has it been since Kate even had a scene with her children? Kate rarely reaches out to Philip (John-Paul Lavoiser) or Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). In fact, Kate was willing to expose Lucas’ relationship with Adrienne (Judi Evans) just to steal his job. Talk about a low blow!

Of course, Kate is Kate. Her kids undoubtedly know how she is and don’t expect much. Kate is a terrible mom, but she’s a fun character. Many “Days” viewers can’t help but love Kate’s sassiness.

Eve (Kassie DePaiva)

We’ll finish off the list with Eve (Kassie DePaiva). Although Eve isn’t around anymore, we just couldn’t leave her out. What kind of mother sleeps with her daughter’s teenage boyfriend?! Eve even went back for more! That’s not acceptable under any circumstances.

Eve learned her lesson, but she learned it a bit too late. Paige (True O’Brien) no longer wanted anything to do with Eve. She died before ever truly reconciling with her mom. We have to give Eve some points for how she grew from that experience though. She was trying to get her life together when we last saw her. Still, those hookups with JJ (Casey Moss) are awfully hard to forget.
