‘Days of Our Lives’ POLL: Who Do You Want Adrienne With? VOTE!

‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) fans are very split on the issue of who Adrienne (Judi Evans) should be with. When she first got together with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), many fans were in an uproar about their age difference and furious that she chose him over her long-time love, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). It seemed that DOOL was doomed when it came to decades long romances and super couples.

Adrienne and Justin had been together off and on since 1987, they have been married three times and have had their fair share of drama. There is no denying they still love each other, but they have proven that sometimes love just isn’t enough. When Justin decided to leave town, and go to Dubai, we all felt this was the end. Justin had an affair with a woman named Elsa, and Adrienne began an affair with Lucas.

Viewers who have been fans of Days of Our Lives for a long time, know that things weren’t always bad between Adrienne and Justin, but their beginning sure was a bumpy one. She fell in love with him while he kept his Kiriakis name a secret, when the truth came out she was furious and left him until she needed help finding her brother Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans).

Do you think that Kayla should return to Justin? It sure looks like Sonny (Freddie Smith) is determined to reunite his parents, but after three marriages and many affairs, is he the right choice for her?

Lucas Horton may be years younger than Adrienne, but they seem happy together. He has been supportive and a very mature and dependable guy to have at her side, in spite of Lucas’ mother, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) insisting they are not a good match.

This past week, Lucas and Adrienne decide to marry anyway. After having a difficult year, with many deaths, losses and enemies to contend with, they were determined to be together, and it almost happened, had it not been for Sonny begging his father, Justin to come tell Adrienne the truth about his feelings; when Adrienne hesitated on who she loved and wanted to be with, the wedding was called off.
