‘Days of Our Lives’ POLL: Do You Like Kate and Andre Together? VOTE!

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Andre (Thaao Penghlis) will be sharing plenty of scenes over the next few months. These two have formed an intriguing partnership and it should be fun to see where it leads. There will undoubtedly be some rough patches as this alliance moves forward, but Kate and Andre will feel drawn to each other anyway.

DOOL viewers know that Andre doesn’t exactly have friends around town. Everyone hates his guts and with good reason! Andre is trying to carry on his father’s legacy as the chief villain in Salem. He tends to run into obstacles, but he never lets that stop him from trying new schemes.

Andre hopes to live up to Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) expectations and continue the DiMera dynasty. Of course, he also appreciates the finer things in life. An elegant woman like Kate is right up Andre’s alley. He probably likes Kate’s devious side as well. Andre doesn’t waste his time on people who aren’t sneaky enough to outsmart most Salemites.

When you pair feisty Kate with a sly go-getter like Andre, you can bet that trouble is brewing. Based on “Days of Our Lives” interviews and their social media interactions, Lauren Koslow and Thaao Penghlis seem to enjoy working with each other. We could see Andre and Kate’s partnership turn into a true friendship. From there, who knows? It might bloom into love.

Do you think they’d make a nice match? It’s tough to say. “Days” fans watched Kate open up to Marlena (Deidre Hall) recently about all of her failed relationships. Kate admitted that she’s always drawn to the wrong type of man. She just can’t break out of this pattern. Kate tends to end up with bad boy after bad boy.

Andre certainly isn’t providing the change of pace Kate needs. However, maybe getting out of her terrible relationship rut is simply wishful thinking on Kate’s part. After all, “Days” uses Kate as a villainess most of the time. It’s not like Kate can seek out someone kind and wholesome when she’s secretly plotting evil.

Since “Days of Our Lives” has no intention of changing this classic character, Kate may have to accept that this is as good as it gets.
