‘Days Of Our Lives’ alum True O’Brien exited the NBC soap opera in October 2015 when her character Paige Larson was murdered and fell victim to the Necktie Killer. True is currently nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance in the Young Actress category. Since her exit from ‘DOOL’ the actress has been busy though, and she revealed on social media she landed a role on the new OWN series ‘Queen Sugar.’

O’Brien actually isn’t the first ‘Days‘ alum to head over to ‘Queen Sugar,’ Greg Vaughan recently left the NBC soap opera and confirmed that he had landed a part on the new show as well. The series is based on the novel of the same name, the show will follow an upscale Los Angeles woman who leaves her life behind to return to Los Angeles where she has inherited her family’s sugarcane farm. The series has received a lot of attention because Oprah Winfrey herself will be starring in the drama.
