‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Thaao Penghlis Reveals ‘DOOL’ Return Date, Teases Andre And Kate Spoilers

After a brief hiatus, the members of the ‘Days of Our Lives’ team went back to filming just approximately two weeks ago. With the changes in their system a few stars were let go and few were rehired. With several pending exits, viewers wondered which direction the show would take in terms of stories. Now Thaao Penghlis (Andre) is teasing that he is back at the NBC studios filming new scenes and giving hints to what those scenes include.

Penghlis first announced his return to the studios on April 5th with a tweet that read “Loved going back to DOOL yesterday. Great working w/ Billy Flynn. Wonderful tone, a new beginning. Heartfelt. Andre even speaks of Tony.”
Continuing with the intrigue, Penghlis shared another tweet just couple hours ago “What great day at DOOL. Love working with our Kate. Lauren K is such a positive energy. It has its own dance. Lucky me.” So clearly Lauren Koslow (Kate) and Penghlis has been working pretty closely since the show went back into production.

Koslow added her own tidbit to the tease sharing “Watch for what happens next#days #summerfun @DaysofourLives @ThaaoPenghlis” with a photograph of the two of them. Just exactly what the storyline could be is anyone’s guess. But from the looks of it, things will take an interesting turn when the stories air this coming summer.

Later today Penghlis confirmed that Andre will be on screen coming this April 18th. He informed us via a post that read “Well its official Andre returns on Monday 18th. What disturbing thoughts is he putting into action? The saga continues. Missing Big Daddy.”

With Andre currently being framed and locked down in prison for the murder of his father Stefano (Joseph Mascolo), we can’t help but wonder if he will be freed soon in order for these Kate and Andre scenes to take place. Quite frankly, the show seems to be heading in a fun filled and intriguing direction, which we all await seeing.
