‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Shawn Christian Says Goodbye To ‘DOOL’ Fans, Thanks For Support After Daniel’s Exit

“Days of Our Lives” Dr. Daniel Jonas touched the lives of the residents of Salem. Shawn Christian, the actor who portrayed the good doctor since 2008, tweeted his thanks and goodbye to “DAYS” fans on Wednesday, January 6.
A ghastly and tragic car accident ripped Daniel away from Nicole Walker [Arianne Zucker] as well as “DOOL” fans. Shawn took to Twitter to let everyone know that he is will miss Dr. Jonas as much as they will.

Shawn had this to say on Twitter to “Days of Our Lives” fans: “Your outpouring of love is deeply appreciated. Ur messages have me speechless, humbled & grateful to have shared Dr. Jonas’ life with u all.”

Within a few minutes of Shawn Christian’s post the actor was the recipient of a dozen or so replies. Best wishes! You’ll be missed! “DAYS” fans shared their thoughts with Shawn regarding Dr. Daniel Jonas’s death. One Twitter follower put it best, “My [heart] breaks 4 Nicole. Was finally getting her happy ending. Will miss Daniel! Looking forward 2 ur next project!”

Dr. Daniel Jonas and Nicole Walker may not get their happy ending, but Shawn Christian and Ariana Zucker might! The on-screen couple is reportedly an off-screen couple, too.

“Days of Our Lives” fans will miss seeing Dr. Daniel on the small screen. But Shawn Christian will hit the big screen soon. The actor just wrapped tapping “Last Seen in Idaho.” The actor is currently filming “Hidden Truth” – he recently shared some on set snapshots. “Days of Our Lives” fans will also be able to see Shawn in the movie “Savannah Sunrise.”

What do you think “DOOL” fans? Of course we’re devastated to see Dr. Jonas leave Salem in just a terrible way. But Shawn will have a successful career post-“DAYS.” And perhaps a very happily-ever-after in his personal life as well.
