‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Shawn Christian Headed To Primetime, Starring In ‘PLL’ Showrunner Marlene King’s New Series ‘Famous In Love’

There’s good news on the horizon for Shawn Christian (ex Daniel Jonas, Days of Our Lives) fans, the former soap star appears in an episode of “Famous in Love,” an upcoming Freeform series based on the book of the same name.

The bad news is, hard-core Christian fans will have to wait until April 2017 for the series to premiere! It seems like a long time to lay eyes on the hunky ex-Salemite, but time does fly, especially with the holidays coming up. Actually, considering that it will be Tax Time when we see Christian next, his upcoming role sounds like the perfect antidote to a stressful time! Not to mention a fun treat to look forward to!

“Famous in Love” stars Bella Thorne as Paige Townsen. According to Soaps.com, Thorne plays a co-ed whose life changes dramatically after landing a role in a bigtime Hollywood movie. It should be fun to follow the young character as she adjusts to life in the bright lights, including some romantic entanglements with her leading men.

The new series is seasoned with a dash of mystery, as well. Word is that Paige gets involved in some sleuthing when a well-known personality goes missing.

Christian has a couple of posts up about his stint on the series, one from the Warner Brothers lot, captioned: “Early morning into work @FamousInLoveTv Which way to the coffee cart…?”

He captioned a lovely video of a pounding surf at sunset, “That’s a wrap for me today on the set of #FamousinLove @Famousinlovetv #sunset #beach #grateful #WarnerBros #Freeform.”
