There’s good news for, “Days of Our Lives,” fans, they can expect to see a Carver family reunion for the holidays! That’s because Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) daughter Lani Price (Sal Stowers) returns to the canvas December 19.
Lani has been gone for months now, and the reason for her return is unclear. Lani may just be visiting for the holidays, but she did leave a few relationships behind when she departed Salem. In the world of soaps, it’s entirely plausible that Lani will come home to drop a bombshell or two!
Will she return to try and rekindle a romance with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering)? Lani had pursued fellow cop Rafe hot and heavy for a while, before he made it clear that he only had eyes for Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Or is it possible that Lani has some unexpected news to drop on Rope?

Maybe Lani has gotten some intel that helps to clear Hope of her conviction for the murder of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Lord knows that someone needs to get Hope out of that cellblock before her fellow inmates do her in!
Or maybe her return has to do with helping out her little brother Theo (Kyler Pettis). Before she left, Lani and Theo had become close. Now Theo is upset that their father is spending time with Dr. Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) and he’s been trying to think of ways to discredit Valerie before a serious romance blooms.
Then again, Lani may just be returning to visit Abe as he recovers from heart surgery. Valerie was the one who performed his lifesaving operation, a fact that Theo conveniently dismisses.

What do you think is the reason for Lani’s return? Is it an innocent Christmas visit, or does the lady in blue have a more serious reason for coming home? Would you like to see Stowers make a permanent return to Salem?
