‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Patrika Darbo Returning To ‘DOOL’ As Nancy Miller

Spoilers for ‘Days of our Lives’ tease that Patrika Darbo is set to reprise the role of Nancy Wesley. Soap Central was first to break the news tweeting “JUST IN: Patrika Darbo returning to Days of Our Lives”.

Darbo was apparently upset that she did not receive an invitation to return for the show’s 50th Anniversary last November, however, she is thrilled about returning now. This is definitely the right time for Nancy to be back in Salem. With Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Parker (Christian Ganiere) moving back to Salem soon, Nancy’s presence will be needed. Considering that Days is a family show and Nancy being Chloe’s mom and Parker’s grandmother, her return is surely needed.

Nancy  has always been there for Chloe, not just as a mother but also as a friend. She has extended to Chloe a shoulder to lean on and cry on, she also was Chloe’s backbone. Though she’s been nice to her daughter, she’s been a conniving woman as well. For her latest return back in 2013 she highlighted that “Family takes care of family.” Is this what her return is about now? Will Chloe need mama dearest to take care of any trouble she’s gotten in?

Darbo was originally born Davidson but got married to Rolf Peter Darbo in 1973. She played Nancy from June, 1998 – 2005 and then made a brief appearance in 2013. Throughout her time on Days she received a nomination in 2000 in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role as Nancy. She also had roles on ‘Ruby Bridges’, ‘Step by Step’, ‘Seinfeld’, ‘Dexter’, ‘Miss Behave’, ‘Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Conspiracy’, ‘Daddy’s Dyin’: Who’s Got the Will, and ‘Roseanne and Tom: Behind the Scenes’.

So Days fans are you happy Darbo will have more sand in hourglass as she returns as Nancy? Do you think she will be as conniving as she always was?
