‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Melissa Reeves And Husband Scott Celebrate Daughter Emily’s Engagement

‘Days of Our Lives’ Melissa Reeves daughter [Jennifer Deveraux] Emily Reeves is engaged! Melissa and husband Scott Reeves shared a photo and video of the newly-engaged couple.

The young singer’s boyfriend Brian surprised Emily with the proposal during a singer/songwriter night at Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant in Franklin, Tennessee. Brian got down on one knee and proposed to the beautiful blonde as she sat on stage for a singer/songwriters circle.

Congratulations flooded in on Emily’s personal Facebook page and also on her Instagram account. Emily posted a video on her personal Facebook page. In the video her friend said, “Man, this town can keep a secret, ‘case everybody knew about it. EVERYBODY!”

Proud father Scott Reeves [Ryan McNeil, ‘The Young and the Restless] sang a song together following the proposal. As Emily sang “I Need You” she started crying.

Emily and Brian had professional engagement photos taken and Emily shared one on Instagram. “Always and Forever – April 23, 2016” Emily captioned the photo of herself wrapped in her new fiancé’s arms. She’s dressed in a beautiful lacy white dress, her eyes are closed and she’s showing off her beautiful engagement ring. Brian is smiling from ear-to-ear.

Scott shared a video of Emily and Brian as they had their engagement photos taken in a beautiful field the next day. Emily’s brother Larry Reeves, a professional photographer, took the gorgeous photos. In the short video, Emily is heard saying, “I thought this would never happen! I’m so happy! Engagement photos in action,” Scott captioned the clip.
