‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Kassie DePaiva Returning To ‘DOOL’ As Eve Donovan

Happy days are ahead for Eve Larson Donovan fans as upcoming spoilers for ‘Days Of Our Lives’ tease that Kassie DePaiva is reprising the role later this year. This report comes hot on the heels of Jen Lilley quitting her role as Theresa Donovan.

DePaiva last aired as Eve in the latter part of 2015 when she went to New York for Claire’s [Olivia Rose Keegan] Julliard audition. However, Claire returned to Salem but Eve never did. Jason47 is reporting that Eve will return later this year.

There is no word on DePaiva’s length of stay but don’t be surprised if she returns full time. DePaiva was so good as Eve she earned a Daytime Emmy Nomination in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in 2015. Her previous work as Eve could land her a new contract with the NBC serial.

What could possibly bring Eve back to Salem? With Lilley’s pending exit as Theresa and her on screen parents Charles Shaughnessy [Shane Donovan] and Patsy Pease [Kim Donovan] returning it looks like there is going to be a shake up in the Donovan family. Will something bad happen to Theresa causing the return of her parents and elder sister? On the other hand, will something good be happening to Theresa – possibly her wedding that leads to their return? Does Eve return to reignite the feud she had with Jennifer [Melissa Reeves] for years?

DePaiva is well known for her daytime roles as Blair Cramer on ‘One Life to Live’ and ‘General Hospital’ and Chelsea Reardon on ‘Guiding Light’ before taking on the role of Eve Larson. It surely would be good to see her back on daytime television.
