‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Joseph Kamal Arrives In Salem As Vadim – Linked to John’s Past

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers include news that Joseph Kamal will be seen on “DAYS” Thursday, January 21 as Vadim. The character is described as a formidable – and is linked somehow to John’s [Drake Hogestyn] past. Is Vadim John’s father?

Vadim will appear in scenes with Maude [Eve Brenner], John’s mother, according to Soaps.com – there isn’t much more information regarding the character or the length of Vadim’s stay in Salem. Who is this mystery man from John’s past?
John rejoined the ISA in order to take advantage of its resources to find his biological parents. John found Maude but there hasn’t been any reference to John’s father – yet. Is Vadim the key holder to unlocking John’s past once and for all?

This new “DAYS” character Vadim could use his formidability for good or for evil. Will he conspire with Maude and keep secrets? If Vadim is John’s father, how long has it been since Maude has seen him? Will Maude recognize Vadim when he slips into town?

“Days of Our Lives” fans may not recognize Joseph Kamal’s name. Joseph has built a successful career a character actor. He portrayed Hassan on “The Bold and the Beautiful” and most recently lent his voice to the video game “Call of Duty: Black Ops III” as Minister Said. You may also recognize him from the CBS drama “Madam Secretary” where Kamal portrayed Ambassador Firas Kateb or perhaps as Sergei Bazhaev’s attorney from the Fox drama “24.”

We’re not sure exactly what TPTB at “Days of Our Lives” have in store for John, Marlena [Deidre Hall] and Maude, but with Vadim’s character description as formidable one can only imagine!
