‘The Invitation‘ made its debut at the 2015 South By Southwest Film Festival – and received rave reviews. The movie is set to hit theaters and Video On Demand on March 25 2016, and it looks like a must-see! The tagline for the creepy horror film on IMDB teases, “While attending a dinner party at his former home, a man thinks his ex-wife and her new husband have sinister intentions for their guests.” Jordi Vilasuso plays the part of a character named Miguel.
Most soap fans recognize Jordi from his role on the now cancelled soap opera ‘Guiding Light,‘ he played Tony Santos from 2001-2003. He also starred on another cancelled soap opera ‘All My Children’ as Griffin Castillo in 2011. According to CBS Soaps In Depth, Jordi is not the only former soap star you will recognize in ‘The Invitation.’ His former ‘Guiding Light‘ co-star Tammy Blanchard (Drew) also stars in the movie as Eden.
