‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Jen Lilley Final DOOL Scenes Air During November Sweeps – Hopes To Return

‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL)  will be minus Theresa Donovan [Jen Lilley] for a while. After three years Jen decided to leave the soap opera and her final scenes, which were taped in June, are airing during November sweeps

Jen shared a photo on Instagram of one of her last scenes with Eric Martsolf [Brady Black]. “It’s my final month on @nbcdays & you won’t want to miss a single heartbreaking moment. I’ll never forget this month of scenes with @ericmartsolf.”

Jen hasn’t been idle since taping her last scenes as Theresa on Days of Our Lives. Jen had a guest-starring role on a Grey’s Anatomy episode as Kara Fisher which aired on October 6. Jen also has four movies – Where Are You, Bobby Browning? [Patsy], Crossing Streets [Cate Anderson], The Wedding Do-Over [Sandy Brantwell] and Galileo [Lauren] in the works.

Jen Lilley previously revealed that she decided to become a foster mom. The actress hasn’t posted many photos of her new baby on Instagram, but she recently shared a couple of funny Snapchat face morphs.

In Jen’s latest message to DOOL fans she revealed that her Christmas tree is already up and that she has designed a candle in partnership with Shinning Sol Candle. Jen posted a video to Instagram showing off her new candle – which smells great and they are environmentally friendly.

In an interview with CBS Soaps in Depth the actress, singer and candle designer revealed that she decided not to renew her contract and there are no hard feelings on either side. “I’d never take my time [on DOOL] for granted and I do hope to be back.”
