‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: James Scott Dishes On New TV Show ‘Wrecked,’ Whether Or Not He Will Return To ‘DOOL’

‘Days of Our Lives’ alum James Scott [Ex-EJ DiMera], who has taken quite a lengthy time to regroup, has booked his next gig. Scott is slated to appear as Liam in TBS’ ‘Wrecked’ when the first season premieres on June 14.

Liam is described as a man who becomes the self-appointed leader of a group of passengers that wind up stranded in the middle of nowhere.  It sounds a bit like a comedic version of ‘Lost.’ Scott described the script as the funniest he has ever read.

Scott exited the NBC soap opera as EJ in 2014, and has since then been taking a lengthy break from acting. According to CBS Soaps In Depth,  Scott wanted the time to relax and he revealed that it was a tremendously comfortable time for him. However, he came to the realization that it time’s to head back to work and auditioned for a role in the upcoming series.

Also starring in the series are; Ally Maki, Brooke Dillman, Will Greenber, Ginger Gonzaga, Zach Cregger, Brian Sacca, Pablo Azar, Jessica Lowe, Goerge Basil, Asif Ali and Rhys Darby.

About his time on Days, Scott further shared with the magazine that he has no intention of returning, but he is rather grateful for the opportunity to work on the show. He is also grateful to have met people like Joseph Mascolo [Ex-Stefano] and to have worked with Alison Sweeney [Ex-Sami] and the rest of the cast. He dishes that they were given some really great and compelling material to work with.

So far this upcoming series sounds rather entertaining and interesting and we can’t wait to see it. The only sad part is that Scott is not returning to Days anytime soon. We wish him all the best with his future career however.
