Wilson who played the role of Will Horton, one of the legacy characters on Days exited the series in 2015. Since the start of this year rumors began circulating that Wilson was spotted at the NBC studios causing rumours of his imminent return to circulate.
Many viewers were so displeased with the show’s decision to kill off such a core character. Since Will’s demise, fans have taken to social media with their views on the character’s death. Many shared how unhappy they were to see him go, in hopes that the show would reconsider and rehire Wilson.
Goldberg shared via a post on the Serial Scoop website how many emails he received querying the news of Wilson’s expected return. Goldberg went further to share that he spoke with a Days spokesperson who confirmed that Wilson is not Returning to Days. Wilson is currently working on another project.

While fans were very hopeful for his return, it turns out we will not be seeing Wilson back as Will Horton. If a return for Will Horton were in plans it certainly isn’t in the form of Guy Wilson.
