‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Greg Vaughan Tweets Cryptic Message About Eric Brady’s Exit And A Possible Return

‘Days Of Our Lives‘ spoilers confirmed weeks ago that Greg Vaughan was leaving the NBC soap opera and his character Eric Brady would be exiting Salem.  But, could the actor already be planning on returning to Days? When Greg confirmed the news of his departure – he didn’t want to give away too many ‘DOOL’ spoilers, but he did say that his final storyline would be tragic.

So far, Greg was not exaggerating, and his character Eric Brady survived a drunk driving accident, however Dr. Daniel Jonas did not. Greg’s final air date is set to run sometime in mid-April, and rumor has it between now and then his character Eric will undergo a heart breaking and guilt-ridden downward spiral.

Greg Vaughan’s fans have been praising his emotional scenes on ‘Days Of Our Lives‘ on Twitter – and letting the talented actor know that they are going to miss him when he leaves the NBC soap.  But, on January 19th Greg shared a cryptic tweet with ‘DOOL’ fans that has everyone speculating he may already be planning a return to Salem.  A fan sent Greg this message, “Your fans are going to miss you when you’re off Days.”  Greg mysteriously replied, “Never say never!”
