‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Greg Vaughan Returning To ‘DOOL’ As Eric Brady

The latest breaking cast news is in and it’s good – Greg Vaughan is back at ‘Days of Our Lives’. The actor who made an exit from the NBC daytime soap opera earlier this year is reportedly back filming new episodes as Eric Brady.

Eric is most definitely missed in Salem and now viewers can quell their thirst as they wait for his on screen return scheduled for 2017. According to Entertainment Weekly, Vaughan, who is a series regular on OWN’s new and popular primetime show ‘Queen Sugar,’ returns on screen on January 17, 2017.

Vaughan reported spoke with EW about his return. He shared that after he was finished working on his new series ‘Queen Sugar’ he spoke with ‘Days’ executives. He also reflected on his time on the NBC daytime soap opera and shared “I’ve always been proud of my time and the work I contributed to Days, and I was excited at the opportunity to reunite with the cast and crew.”

Vaughan made his exit from the role of Eric Brady who was shipped off to prison. He left in pursuit of other projects and has kept busy since his departure from ‘Days of Our Lives’. Currently he plays the role of Calvin on ‘Queen Sugar’. Calvin is a married man having an affair with another character named Nova. Vaughan is also well remembered for his time on other soap operas such as; ‘General Hospital’ Lucky Spencer and ‘The Young and the Restless’ as Diego.

It is most definitely a pleasure to have Vaughan back. But what will Eric be up to when he makes his on screen return? Will he be freed from prison? Will Eric be up and about in Salem as he was before? Will we get to see him in some new romance? Will we see him in a new job?
